Prayer For Salvation

Salvation is a free gift from God, given to us by His Grace when we accept His Son Jesus as our Savior. Salvation cannot be earned or bought.

The Holy Bible says in Romans 10:9-10:that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Jesus is the Light of the world. God sent Him as our Savior and as the ultimate atonement for our sins. He, God the Son, was sent in a human body to live among us and experience the hardships of life with us. He was crucified on a cross and then was raised by God three days later to be seated beside God in the Heavenly Realm.

In doing this, Jesus took all our sins upon Himself, He who knew no sin. When He died and was brought back to life on the third day, He overcame the world, the power of sin, and the power of death. Now, when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we get to share in His victory over sin and death. We then get to share in the Inheritance from the Father, as well as His glorious power as we too are now children of God, marked with God’s seal, the Holy Spirit in us.

Accepting Jesus is God’s one and only requirement for our Salvation, and this is available to anyone and everyone who is willing to surrender their life to God. This is also the only way for Salvation from the coming Wrath and Judgment of God, which results in a horrible and eternal place that unbelievers will go. We don’t know the day or hour of this Day of Judgment, so we are wise to be prepared.

Jesus is the only way!

If you are ready and willing to seek a life of victory through Jesus Christ, simply pray this prayer to Jesus and get ready for a fulfilling and rewarding life!

Dear Jesus,

I am a sinner. I have sinned against you and have spent my life living apart from you doing the things that satisfy me. I want a new life. Lord, I believe in you. I want the life that you are offering. I want to be free in you, Lord. Please forgive me of my sins, Jesus, and wash me clean.

Please teach me to live for you and please guide me into victory with you. Lord Jesus, I surrender myself to you today and ask you to come into my life and lead me and help me and save me. I pray this in Jesus’ name, thank you Jesus, Amen.

If you have just prayed this prayer and have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, Congratulations, and welcome to the Kingdom!

Now, it is important to immerse yourself in the company of other believers who can help you learn the fundamentals and help you grow in spiritual maturity. It is important to do this as soon as possible. I encourage you to seek out a local church to attend that is rooted in the teachings of the true Gospel Message of Jesus Christ and let them know of your decision to join the Kingdom of God.
